Travelling by car from the south
- Travel north on the A1/A1(M).
- At Junction 49 (Dishforth), take the exit onto the A168 link road.
- Stay on that road, do not take any exits or slip roads. The road becomes the A19.
- Follow the A19 north for the next 62 miles.
- You will come to a traffic light-controlled roundabout, the only one on the A19.
- Signposted: Newcastle A184 (left), Tyne Tunnel A19 (straight on), Sunderland A184 (right).
- On the approach to the roundabout, get into the far right-hand lane. Turn right, A184 (Sunderland), 3rd exit.
- After 500 yards, turn left at the roundabout, onto Abingdon Way.
- After 500 yards, turn left at the traffic lights onto Witney Way.
- Carry on, straight ahead, follow the road into Hi-Tech Village. The road goes around the estate in a loop. NHS Connecting for Health is in the far right corner as you enter the small estate of single storey buildings.
Travelling by train and bus
- Alight the train at Newcastle Central station.
- From within Newcastle Central Station, take the Metro (underground) to Heworth, (4th stop from Newcastle).
- From Heworth take the Bus, 160 Sunderland, to Abingdon Way, (the stop just after the BMW garage).
- After getting off the bus, walk to the traffic lights and turn into Witney Way.
- Walk straight on for a quarter of a mile, past the hotel on the left and into Hi-Tech village.
- The office is in the far right corner as you enter the small estate of single storey buildings.
Travelling by train and taxi
- Alight the train at Newcastle Central station.
- From outside the main entrance of the station take a taxi and ask for Boldon Colliery.
- On the approach to the traffic Light controlled roundabout, (know as Testo's Roundabout), go straight ahead (A184 Sunderland).
- After 500 yards, turn left at the roundabout, onto Abingdon Way.
- After 500 yards, turn left at the traffic lights onto Witney Way.
- Carry on, straight ahead, follow the road into Hi-Tech Village. The road goes around the estate in a loop.
