Accenture completes transfer of core services to CSC
The existing core services previously provided by Accenture in the East and North East of England were successfully transferred to CSC on 8 January 2007, in line with the previously outlined plans.
This follows the novation agreement signed on 28 September 2006 between Accenture, CSC and the Department of Health.
On the same day (8 January), and again in line with previously outlined plans, the contractual documentation was finalised and signed between CSC and the Department of Health for the delivery of new and improved IT services for the NHS in the East and North East, together with the restatement of the contract to provide those services in the North West and West Midlands.
