Hamer champions nurses' use of IT

Dr Susan Hamer, Director of Nursing Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals, has championed the use of IT by nurses to provide good quality information, in a webinar held on the Nursing Times website. (Published: 12 January 2012)

Dr Hamer chatted online about how to encourage nurses to embrace IT innovation, enthusing that "nurses clearly see the benefits of learning new skills in terms of improving patient outcomes and their own professional updating".
