Talks to patient groups

NHS Connecting for Health regularly engages with a wide range of stakeholders on the patient implications of informatics issues, such as access to records and information governance. Here are some examples of our recent work in this area:

Patient group presentation

A presentation about health records was given to a patient group in Essex (PPT, 185KB) in March 2010.

Widening access to medicines

A presentation about widening access to medicines safely and effectively (PDF, 1.25MB) was given in December 2009 at a meeting to look at how to use patient data and the internet to make more medicines safely available to people without a prescription.

An Information Revolution: Patient Access and Control

A presentation on patient access and control of information (PDF, 4Kb), delivered at the Healthcare Computing event in April 2011.

Information Governance: IT Challenge
