The Programme delivered its first 'go live' at Salford Care of the Elderly in May 2009 and we are already receiving feedback about benefits experienced by Clinicians on site.
Dr Rachel Pyburn, Salford Care of the Elderly, said: "There is information pertinent to clinicians. You wouldn't usually expect to see this information on their standard reports, or in fact information they have never seen before.
"Clinicians liked the way it brought together disparate data sources that they hardly ever have previously been able to view. Being able to see who the patients actually are, by drilling down to the names, is also a massive plus.
"The dashboard allows clinicians to identify potential problems that they need focus on, which they wouldn't know about until they pitched up on the ward."
With many pilot sites now actively running projects we are encouraging them to share learning and best practice through a regular Implementation Forum, the first of which will be in early July.
