Data Quality Review

The newsletter for clinical coders and all interested in data standards

The Data Quality Review Newsletter

The informative Data Quality Review (DQR) newsletter publicises the work to improve the quality of coded clinical data in the NHS. First published in 1992, it is a quarterly publication with a distribution list of 4,000 and a readership of over 6,000.

The newsletter aims to:

  • highlight current and planned initiatives for improving the quality of coded clinical data in the NHS
  • show the importance of high quality data; and
  • cover topical data quality issues.

Your input

Your input and feedback plays an important part of shaping the future of the newsletter.

Are we missing your news or good practice examples? Other people might find it helpful to know more about what you’ve been doing – about successes and even pitfalls. We depend on you to let us know.

If you want to submit an article, it should be around 250-300 words long – although fewer words will be considered. Your article must also be comprehensible to readers without specialist knowledge. Send submissions to: dqr@nhs.net
