The NCS are pleased to announce the availability of the Clinical Coding Auditor Programme and Auditor Refresher workshops for 2012 -13. Please see below for information and applications forms for the 2012 - 13 Clinical Coding Auditor courses.

Places on all auditor courses are allocated on a first come, first served basis and you can ensure your place by sending us your completed course booking form as soon as possible following your initial enquiry. No place is confirmed until this information is provided. The NHS Classifications Service exists to support the NHS and so all spaces on our courses are allocated with priority given to the NHS clinical coder.

Failure to complete and return a booking form in full (including all required information, manager & delegate signatures, full purchase order documentation and invoice details) may result in you being unable to attend the course.

Each delegate is responsible for their accommodation costs when booking. We suggest you mention you are attending our course when making your reservation. Please do not book accommodation until the course place has been fully confirmed by the NHS Classifications Service. The NCS cannot be liable for any costs incurred due to accommodation booking errors made with the venue.

The requirement for Approved Auditors unable to obtain a place on an Auditor Refresher during 2012 - 13 to submit an annual audit report containing a minimum of 200 FCEs for assessment remains unaffected. Please visit the Audit FAQs for further information.

Course length: 1 day, maximum 12 delegates per course

Should a delegate be unsuccessful in passing the assessment day a nominal charge will be made to cover costs (NHS: £247. Non-NHS: £297).

Clinical Coding Audit Workshop

This nationally recognised course is only delivered by the NHS Classifications Service.

Approved Auditor Refresher Workshop

This course allows Experienced Approved Auditors to refresh their practical and theoretical coding skills and so maintain continued professional development to assist in their auditor role.

Course length: 1 day, maximum 12 delegates per course
