Strategic health authorities SHAs and primary care trusts (PCTs) are responsible for implementing IT systems and services locally. The deployment support team is working closely with SHAs to support them in the deployment of systems.

ESP and National Programmes
Supporting the deployment of national systems and services
SHAs and PCTs are responsible for local implementation.
The deployment support team is working closely with the NHS and suppliers to support them in deploying national systems. These include: Choose and Book, Electronic Prescription Service, Summary Care Record, Existing System Programme and GP Systems of Choice (GPSoC) compliance.
