Aims and objectives

The aim of the community pharmacy user group is to:

• consult on and review the design and implementation approach for the Electronic Prescription Service for community pharmacy
• identify and review areas of business change and the impact the service will have on pharmacy processes - ensuring that these are taken into account in the implementation of the Electronic Prescription Service within community pharmacy
• review community pharmacy process issues arising from the initial implementations of the Electronic Prescription Service
