EPS implementation board

Aims and Objectives

  • Promote, support and facilitate the take up of the Electronic Prescription Service by the NHS in England
  • Review and validate the published implementation strategy for the Electronic Prescription Service
  • Own and monitor the National Deployment Plan for the Electronic Prescription Service
  • Promote the take up of the Electronic Prescription Service through appropriate stakeholder engagement
  • Advise and comment on communication materials and the overall communication strategy
  • Resolve specific implementation related issues that are raised and direct them to the ETP Programme Board if necessary
  • Ensure implementation related risks are mitigated appropriately and directed to the ETP Programme Board if necessary
  • Review lessons learned from implementation to inform future implementation approach
