EPS Release 2 e-Learning

A new online learning resource is now available from the NHS CFH Education, Training and Development website.

The EPS e-learning programme explains the changes that will be introduced in Release 2 of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) and includes information on each of the EPS Release 2 prescribing and dispensing business processes including:

  • nomination
  • electronic cancellation of prescriptions
  • the use of prescription and dispensing tokens
  • electronic repeat dispensing and 
  • electronic submission of reimbursement endorsements.

The e-learning is relevant to all health care staff working in a primary care setting using EPS Release 2. 

The e-learning has been divided into two modules:

  • Module 1 – Introduction to the Electronic Prescription Service
  • Module 2 – Business process overview
