GPSoC prices and funding
For practices included in GPSoC, NHS Connecting for Health will pay the supplier charges for the core software licence. NHS CFH will also fund the incremental licence charges and deployment charges associated with NHS CFH functionality, such as Choose and Book, GP2GP, Electronic Prescribing and the Summary Care Record.
The training element of the deployment charges will be funded by the PCTs, unless the relevant NHS CFH programme has made specific specific provision for centrally funded training costs.
Where a GPSoC supplier provides a hosting service that has been accredited as meeting the requirements for hosting to NHS Connecting for Health standards then, providing commercial terms for the supply of that service have been contracted with NHS Connecting for Health, the charges for that service will also be funded directly by NHS Connecting for Health.
Payment of the charges for all other GPSoC services will be covered locally by the PCT or practice on a similar basis to how they were funded previously.
