Current position

The requirements gathering for the GP Payments Calculation is now complete and we have also incorporated the Government's proposals for GP Commissioning in the requirements.

We are currently finalising the requirements in preparation for discussing them with potential suppliers during the procurement process.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank again everyone who has contributed to the requirements gathering, this has been extremely helpful to us.

Key findings from the survey

Particular attention has been paid to the three key areas for improvement over the present system that were suggested in the survey:

  • Reporting
  • Availability and usability
  • Help, support and guidance

Each was worked through with our end-user group. Here is the summary of the survey results (PDF 102Kb).
