What is my Summary Care Record?
What is my Summary Care Record?
Your Summary Care Record (SCR) is a summary of important information taken from the electronic medical records that the NHS holds for you. The information could help people treating you, particularly in an emergency.
Summary Care Records are being rolled out across England in a phased way. You may have received information about viewing your Summary Care Record from your local NHS, or will do so in the future. If you choose to have a Summary Care Record you can view it from HealthSpace.
For more information about the Summary Care Record, visit the NHS Care Records Service website.
There may be a period of time between you opening a HealthSpace Advanced Account and your GP practice creating your Summary Care Record.
How can I find out if my Summary Care Record has been created?
You must be eligible for, or be an Advanced Account holder to find out if your Summary Care Record has been created. To find out if your Summary Care Record has been created, log in to HealthSpace and go to the 'Summary Care Records news' section of your homepage.
