HealthSpace security

HealthSpace takes the security and confidentiality of your health information very seriously. There are two types of account requiring different levels of security.

Registering for a Basic Account

Everyone living in England, aged 16 or over, with a valid email address can register for a HealthSpace Basic Account. You will need:

  • a valid email address
  • a valid English postcode
  • your date of birth

You will be asked to create:

  • a user ID
  • a password
  • an on-screen name (we will use this name when we communicate with you online or by email).

HealthSpace validates the email provided but does not validate any other information provided.

Registering for an Advanced Account

Registering for an Advanced Account requires higher security measures to be in place.

For this reason there are three steps required to register for a HealthSpace Advanced Account:

  1. Complete a short online application
  2. Prove your identity at your local HealthSpace Registration Office
  3. Activate your HealthSpace Advanced Account
