Newsletters and other resources
One of the best ways of keeping up to date with developments in Health Informatics is to read news sources regularly. These have been in paper form traditionally, though nowadays many are released electronically as e-newsletters.
You can often register to receive newsletters or e-bulletins online, or subscribe to automated newsfeeds. Look out for these on web sites that you visit.

National Health Informatics Collection
The National Health Informatics Collection has been established to maximise the continued availability and minimise the amount of important material that is lost as health organisations deploy more and more complex technologies to support their care delivery, management and research purposes. Held by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in Preston, the Collection is available for reference use.
Health informatics professionals, researchers in the field or interested onlookers can apply for National Health Informatics Collection Membership of the UCLan Library, which will give you access to the collection in person or through delivery of printed materials.
The BIZ
The Benefits of Informatics Zone (The BIZ) (N3 connections required, NHS staff only), offers a single, easily accessible resource for planning, business cases and benefits management for all staff involved in informatics enabled investments and change programmes.
