The health service is now firmly committed to life-long learning for its workforce, including those in the growing area of Health informatics (HI).

As well as the Health Informatics Career Framework, (HICF), a wide range of courses are available for HI staff to support professional development. These include; eLearning modules, ETD Practitioner Development, vocational and professional training, and also management and leadership development.
