Essential IT Skills gives organisations the means to train staff in basic IT skills. The most popular training within EITS is NHS ELITE which covers the IT skills that are required for the use of computer based health information systems, such as how to use a mouse and a keyboard. It also covers other skills such as using Windows, working with files and applications and how to operate email and the internet.
