IG SoC for General Practices
The Information Governance Statement of Compliance (IGSoC) process is the procedure by which organisations enter into an agreement with NHS Connecting for Health for access to its services. The process includes completing the IG Toolkit, which contains a requirement to agree to the Information Governance Assurance Statement. This statement contains the terms and conditions of access to these services. The process is completed once and compliance is reconfirmed through the annual submission of the Information Governance Toolkit.
NHS CFH have developed a programme, in partnership with SHAs and PCTs, to support General Practices (GPs) to meet the requirements of the IGSoC. Further help and advice is available via exeter.helpdesk@nhs.net.
To complete the IG SoC process
Register with, and complete the IG Toolkit. Please note that most GPs are already registered.
