Introduction to e-Government Interoperability Framework (eGIF)
The e-GIF (e-Government Interoperability Framework) is intended to:
- enable the seamless flow of information across government/Public Service Organisations
- set practical standards using stable well supported products
- provide support, guidance and toolkits to enable the standards to be met
- provide a long term strategy that is able to accommodate and adapt
They are a set of standards covering interconnectivity, data integration, e-services access and content management.
