NHS Number card
A PCT rolled out a credit-card size card for patients. This includes a list of key benefits and a space for the patients NHS Number to be displayed. The recommendation is to affix a printed label from a clinical system containing the NHS Number. Supplies of these cards were made available for use by general practice staff and secondary care providers based on their local requirements.
