Governance & Project Management
As with any organisational change it is important that organisations plan appropriately. In order to meet the NHS Number Safer Practice Notice and Information Standards and to ensure all stakeholders are engaged this section of the implementation toolkit has been produced to provide some example Project Management documents to support local planning and control of your NHS Number project.
The guidance in this section assumes the reader has basic knowledge and experience in project management. We advise readers to combine the examples in this area of the toolkit with other references such as PRINCE2 manuals for further clarification
