Throughout the implementation of SCR and beyond, there are a number of different teams on hand to provide support and advice whether you are a clinician, user, IG manager or implementation team.
Strategic Health Authority (SHA) Support
Each SHA has appointed a lead for SCR implementation that is responsible for coordinating the roll-out across the trusts in that SHA and to act as an escalation point for issues relating to implementation.
SHA contacts should be the first point of contact for questions and guidance on both the local and national level and will be able to provide an overview of progress to date and feedback any lessons learned so far.
SHA leads can be contacted by any of the trusts in that area.
SCR Programme Team Support
The SCR Programme has a number of teams in place to support the rollout of SCRs including; system releases, clinical support, benefits, communications, training and business change. These teams are in place to provide specialist advice and knowledge on the various stages of implementation as well as feedback lessons learned across the country to the SHA and trust SCR leads.
In addition to the specialist teams noted above, there is also a dedicated National Interface Manager (NIM) for each SHA that works alongside the SCR leads in that area to assist with the implementation, giving help and advice throughout.
These National Interface Managers collectively form the Joint Implementation Team (JIT).
