Errors
Cannot update. Database or object is read-only
Check Permissions on data folder or database files.
System User Name and Password required
In IIS Properties the Home Directory Local Path must be set to the directory where Digerati is installed e.g. wwwroot/docs.
Right click 'My Computer', select Manage, expand Services and Applications, select Internet Information Services, select Web Sites, right click on Default Web Site and select Properties and select the Home Directory tab.
Path not found
Check the following:
- The IIS Home Directory local path points to the docs folder.
- The ODBC DSN points to the databases.
- System Parameters on Digerati installpath points to the docs folder.
Windows 2003 Server problems
- Windows 2003 Server needs to be set up to accept the type of file that is being used i.e. asp files. Use the server manager 'web service extensions'; to set this up.
- Enable parent paths on the website that is turned off by default in IIS 6 for Windows 2003.
Disallowed Parent Path
Tick the 'Enable Parent Paths' Box in IIS. Right click 'My Computer', select Manage, open up Services and Applications, select Internet Information Services, select Web Sites, right click on Default Web Site and select Properties, select Home Directory tab, Configuration button and Options tab.
Cannot connect to Server from other PCs
Check that correct IP address is being used. Some versions of Windows XP have a firewall that is installed by default.
